I travelled to literally the other side of the world in November, 2006 to Bangladesh. I went with a group of singles from my church, First Evangelical Free Church. Five of the woman that went on the trip (myself included) worked at a school for girls that lived in the slums of Dhaka (capital city of Bangladesh). It was an amazing (and very hard) experience. Since then I have become excited about and involved in missions work. I thank God for the opportunity I had to see a beautiful people group and some amazing christians that daily give up their lives and often their jobs & families to follow Christ with their whole heart, soul, mind and body.
